As a native New Yorker, I have had a bunch of wonderful experiences including Broadway shows, special exhibits and the Metropolitan Museum, going to Stuyvesant High School right near the world trade center, performing at Carnegie Hall, marching in parades on 5th Avenue, and swing dancing at “A Mid-Summer Night Swing” in Lincoln Center. For four years, I left the wonders of New York City to attend Cornell University in Ithaca, NY where I fell in love with waterfalls, Wegman’s, and wine. I also found my interest in child development (how cool is it to watch them discover new things?). After graduating, I spent two years teaching junior high school students at the William Spyropoulos Greek-American Day School in Flushing, New York. While there, I was the Bosley for the Angel's on staff (ironically, the person who replaced me is Charlie!). In the summer of 2004, I volunteered for my church at the Ionian Village Summer Travel Camp in Greece, which helped me grow in the Greek Orthodox faith. It also allowed me to be at the Athens Olympics Games! My wonderful experience there led me to volunteer at Camp Saint Paul for the past two summers where I ran Arts and Crafts and got to know some really neat people. Now, I am a third-year student at Drexel University College of Medicine. I’ve been involved in the Drexel Community as the Class of 2010 Orientation Coordinator, and in various positions in Student Government. In my free time, I enjoy watching The Golden Girls, Grey’s Anatomy, Huff, House, Enterage, and Big Love (it makes me sad that they seem to have cancelled Big Love and Huff). So, drop me a line when these shows take a twist!
